Description

  • 1930’s sterling silver ring featuring whirling logs and (Possible) Blue Gem Turquoise from Nevada.
  • Turquoise does have cracks due to age and wear, but is surrounded with a bezel
  • Hallmark may possibly be Ike Austin Wilson (Bow and Arrow) as pictured
  • The word Swastika comes from Sanskrit which means “well being’. The swastika symbol was called “whirling logs” by the Navajo. It was used in spiritual healing ceremonies in the mid and late 1880’s. They only abandoned the use of it after 1940 due to the stigma placed on it by Germany.
